Who We Are
rocmedia is a privately held media company operating at the intersection of intellectual property and marketing technology. We were founded on a clear conviction: media companies that own their rights and control their distribution infrastructure are structurally more resilient than those that do not.
We operate two distinct divisions. The Copyright Division acquires, administers and licenses music and book rights — building a catalogue that generates royalty income across every exploitation channel, from streaming and broadcasting to synchronisation and print publishing. The Technology Division builds and operates AI-driven SaaS systems for content marketing, multi-channel distribution and monetisation, serving both internal operations and select external partners.
We are deliberately focused. Our strength lies in the combination of deep copyright expertise and sophisticated marketing technology — a pairing that allows us to serve artists, authors and business partners with a precision that broader media companies cannot offer.
Our History
rocmedia was founded to address a structural gap in the media landscape: independent musicians and authors consistently lacked access to the kind of professional rights administration and technology infrastructure that major publishers and labels take for granted. At the same time, the rise of AI and digital distribution opened entirely new opportunities for content marketing and monetisation that required specialist technical knowledge to exploit.
We built rocmedia to operate on both fronts simultaneously — bringing professional copyright management to independent catalogues, and deploying AI-powered marketing systems capable of generating real, scalable returns without constant manual intervention.
Structure
